b. April 23, 1992 : the zoo was officially inaugurated by the Hon'ble CM of Himachal Pradesh, Sh. Shanta Kumar

d. June 1994 : Initially, the zoo was named 'Dhauladhar Nature Awareness Center Gopalpur', but in June 1994, the name was changed to 'Dhauladhar Nature Park'

b.) Birds: lovebirds, black kites , Emu, Rose Ringed Parakeet, Red Jungle Fowl, Black Bulbul, Great Tit, Indian Robin, Grey Bushchat, Indian Grey Hornbill etc.
