Murlen National Park beckons with its 100 square kilometers of pristine wilderness. 

Established in 2003,  

this sanctuary near the Indo-Myanmar border boasts lush subtropical forests and a rich tapestry of wildlife.

Timeline of Murlen National Park

Initially in 1989, it was established as Murlen Wildlife Sanctuary, covering 50 sq. km

A prelim notification issued on July 8, 1991, aimed to declare it as National Park, extending its boundaries to 150 sq. km

Finally, on January 24, 2003, Murlen National Park was officially declared, covering 100 sq km
